Doug was born and raised in the nearby town of Morton, Illinois. After graduating from Illinois State University, he and his wife, Jen, have spent most of the past 30 years living, working, teaching, and sharing the love of Christ in East Asia. They also raised three sons overseas! The Witzig family has been the recipient of gracious hospitality offered by their Asian friends and colleagues. Now Doug and Jen want to extend that same kind of hospitality and friendship to international students who come to study at universities and colleges in our home area of Central Illinois. As the IFI Campus Coordinator at Bradley University, Doug will be connecting B.U. international students to friendship partners and inviting them to cultural activities and Life Groups.
