A Latin Dance Event

Purpose of the meeting is; to socialize and network with other IFI volunteers, get an update on the ministry at ICC, provide your input and feedback about the ministry, and receive on-going training about how to do the ministry of IFI with international students. This month we will be talking about hospitality and sharing tips. (all are welcome and encouraged to attend) (you can also bring people who might be interested in volunteering with IFI)
Snacks and drinks will be provided.

The IFI Spring Break trip to Nashville, Tennessee will be Monday, March 16 – Friday, March 20. We will see and experience some of the best attractions that Nashville has to offer. And the temperature will be warmer! We will be hosted by a local family and here are some of the attractions. We will: visit the Parthenon; Topgolf; the Wild Horse Saloon and country line dancing; hike in Radnor State Park; rent scooters and travel downtown Nashville to see murals, glass elevators, and the pedestrian bridge; visit Cheekwood Botanical Garden and Art Museum, and soar through the trees on nine different ziplines at Adventureworks. The cost is $165 and includes lodging, transportation, entrance to all attractions, and most meals. BRING $60 extra to pay for three meals not included in the trip cost.
Have fun hanging out with old friends or meeting new ones while bowling at Plaza Lanes in Washington.
Meet at ICC East Peoria Campus Housing Clubhouse at 7:00 pm. Transportation, pizza snack and water will be provided.
$10 per volunteer payable in cash at the event. This pays for two games of bowling, bowling shoes, pizza, and a glass of water.

Laser tag is also offered at additional cost of $7.00 per game to be paid directly to Plaza Lanes.
ICC’s international students will host its 16th Annual International Fair on Sat., April 4 from noon to 3 p.m. in the Student Center on the Peoria Campus, located at 5407 N. University St., Peoria. The event offers an opportunity for the community to meet international students and celebrate their cultures through displays, food, and music. Additional entertainment will include a fashion show of traditional clothing modeled by ICC students and a martial arts demonstration.
The event is open to the public. Families are encouraged to attend to learn about and appreciate world cultures while having fun together.
There is an admission donation of $3. Children under age 10 are free. Food samples will be available at a modest cost. Proceeds will go toward an International F-1 student scholarship fund.

Join us at the Widmer Interiors in Peoria to discuss the IFI planning for the coming year.
Join students and volunteers in a farewell party before finals start. We would like to honor graduating international students or international students who will be leaving ICC after this spring semester. A meal and drinks will be provided. A short program including a slideshow of the year’s highlights will be included. We will also give a brief devotion and prayer of dedication and blessing to departing students. FREE EVENT!
